CAU Now Lifting Every Voice Features Whitney M. Young, Jr. School of Social Work

The November edition of CAU Now-Lifting Every Voice on WCLK featured Dr. Jenny L. Jones, Dean of the Whitney M. Young, Jr. School of Social Work at Clark Atlanta University. We discussed the undergraduate, graduate and doctorate levels of the program, current collaborations and student engagement initiatives, and the school's upcoming 2020 Centennial. We also talked about Whitney M. Young, Jr., who was a nationally known civil rights activist and academic who was the first Dean of the school that now bears his name at CAU.

In addition to CAU, where she attained her PhD, Dr. Jones has studied, taught and worked at Valdosta State University, California State University-Long Beach, Morehouse School of Medicine, and Florida A&M University, where she was Chair of the School of Social Work before joining CAU as Dean in 2016.
