Join WCLK at the annual CHAMPS Event on Saturday, September 6 from 9am until 3pm at the Epps Gymnasium on the Clark Atlanta University Campus. This year's event begins with a Champion's Walk in conjunction with the Georgia Prostate Cancer Coalition, beginning at Friendship Church(registration starts at 7:30am)and ending at Epps Gymnasium to kick off the CHAMPS event. CHAMPS stands for Community Health and Men's Promotion Summit. The event is designed to address health disparities in the community and give men the health information they need to live longer, healthier lives. There will be free health screenings, disease counseling, the chance to talk one on one with a doctor, and even a community clothes closet and free haircuts.
