Saturday morning at 8am on The Local Take On WCLK I talked with Cynthia Day, President and CEO of Citizens Trust Bank and co-chair of the Atlanta Business League Super Tuesday taking place on October 2 at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis. This event will also celebrate the 23rd Anniversary of the 100 Women of Vision Breakfast. Ms. Day speaks with us about the Atlanta Business League and why the Super Tuesday programming is important for our community.

Support for WCLK programming comes from The Atlanta Business League, presenting their 34th Annual Super Tuesday Conference happening Tuesday October 2 from 8am until 4pm at the Atlanta Marriot Marquis Hotel Downtown. The conference features informative, interactive self-help business enhancement workshops, the Annual  Women of Vision Breakfast and the Super Tuesday Awards Luncheon, recognizing African American women entrepreneurs and professionals. This year's conference theme is One Great Day: The Power of The Woman.

Saturday morning at 8am on The Local Take on WCLK I talked with AJC Senior Managing Editor Monica Richardon, co-chairperson of the Atlanta Business League Men of Influence Reception and Induction Ceremony taking place on Tuesday, July 24th at the Hyatt Regency-Downtown Atlanta at 6pm. Ms. Richardson shares that the Men of Influence program reflects the success of African-American businessmen who are making history in their endeavors. 

Programming on Jazz 91.9 WCLK is made possible in part by support from the Atlanta Business League (ABL), presenting the 40th Annual CEO Appreciation Luncheon on Tuesday, May 15 at 11:30 a.m. at Hyatt Regency Atlanta. This annual event recognizes local CEOs for outstanding participation in minority vendor development and community involvement.

Rob Maynard talked with Tommy Dortch on a special segment on The Local Take on WCLK in Saturday about the Atlanta Business League, and it's upcoming 11th Annual Congress On The State of Black Business in Metro Atlanta. The event takes place all day Monday, April 9 on the campus of Atlanta Metropolitan State College.
