There's new music from Boney James with his latest Concord release Honestly. The record features nine songs co-written by Boney and vocal guests including Atlanta's own Avery Sunshine and Eric Roberson.  You can hear cuts including Tick Tock on Jazz 91.9 WCLK at various times throughout the day, including on Serenade To The City, Monday through Friday from  10:00 p.m. until 2:00 a.m.

It features my one-on-one interview with media maven Rashana Ali as she talks about her new daytime talk show, “The Sister Circle.” It premieres this Monday, September 18 at 9 a.m. as part of TV One’s new fall programming. The radio personality and philanthropist also opens up about being a part of this weekend’s Pretty Girls Sweat Fest and much more. 

 

Rivablue, host, Midday Jazz talked with Jazz Legend George Benson about his appearance Saturday night, August 19, as part of the Sunset Jazz Festival at Chastain Park Amphitheatre.  On the bill with George is:  Boney James, Regina Belle and Will Downing who doubles as host.

Programming on Jazz 91.9 WCLK is made possible in part by the inaugural 2017 Orlando Jazz Festival, taking place March 10 - 11 at the Seneff Arts Plaza of the Dr. Phillips Center for the Arts in Orlando, Florida.  Feature performances will include:  Mark Antoine, Euge Groove, Peter White, Kirk Whalum, Boney James, Alex Bugnon, Paul Taylor, Marion Meadows, Ken Ford, Maysa, Najee and many more.  The Festival will be hosted by Jay Anthony Brown.  Ticket information is available at orlandojazzfest.com.
