FRIDAY, FEB. 2: Emory Jazz Fest presents Bobby Broom and Gary Motley Trio

The Emory Schwartz Center presents The Emory Jazz Fest beginning Thursday, February 1 through Saturday, February 3 with acclaimed guitarist Bobby Broom.

This annual musical event brings world-class jazz to the community with master classes, artist demonstrations, and concerts featuring Bobby Broom along with Atlanta's very own pianist Gary Motley, bassist Kenny Davis, drummer Kobie Watkins, and the Emory Big Band under the direction of Randy Hunter.

Known for his “ultra-refined timing and tone” (DownBeat), the award-winning jazz guitarist, composer, and educator Bobby Broom takes the Schwartz Center stage with the Gary Motley Trio on Friday, February 2 at 8 p.m.
