This week on WCLK Profiles we'll feature INROADS, an organization dedicated to providing outstanding, diverse paid interns to America's largest corporations, providing a way into the boardrooms of tomorrow to today's minority communities.

Our guests will include INROADS President and CEO Forest T. Harper, Jr., and Clark Atlanta University Student Arlena Gillespie, who is currently working on an INROADS internship with Met Life in Atlanta.

The Jazz Education Network is dedicated to building the jazz arts community by advancing education, promoting performance, and developing new audiences.  Their annual conferences bring together musicians, students, educators and jazz authorities for four days of performances, seminars and informal opportunities for those just starting out in jazz music to mingle and learn from those who have made a lifetime of it.

CAU President Carlton Brown Featured On CAU Now

CAU Director of Strategic Communications and University Relations Donna Brock sits down and discusses the current state of CAU and college education in general on CAU Now on WCLK, airing Saturday morning at 7:30, immediately preceding Tavis Smiley.

Brown touches on the impact of tightened student loan requirements, the continuing importance of an HBCU education, and the difference it can make when a young person attends the college of their choice.

CAU Now is a regular public affairs presentation of WCLK, the radio voice of Clark Atlanta University.

Afemo Omilami came in and swapped baritones with Morris Baxter this morning on WCLK.  Hosea Feed The Hungry has worked hard to make for a happy holiday for those with the least among us, and they always can use your support and your time.

Their Christmas Dinner Event is scheduled this year at the Georgia World Congress Center, Christmas Day beginning at  and is expected to feed, clothe and otherwise support 20,000 people who can't take for granted a heated home or a packed refrigerator for the holidays.

Morris Baxter was joined Wednesday morning by Director Jasmine Guy and Actor Demetria McKinney to talk about the True Colors Theatre Company production of The Mountaintop, which portrays the final night of the life of Martin Luther King, Jr., as imagined by playwright Katori Hall.
