Depression And Suicide Awareness Information You Need To Know

Aug 16, 2014

The sad passing of Robin Williams is bringing awareness of depression and suicide into the community conversation more than ever before.  Depressed people can't always "get over it."  WCLK's Fulton Focus segment features key information you can use if you or a love one faces depression or suicidal thoughts.  Renee Lee-Ferguson is a licensed Professional Counselor and the Behavioral and Developmental Disabilities Health Program Manager for the Fulton County Department of Health Services and talked with WCLK's Rob Maynard about it.

If you or someone you love is in immediate danger, we encourage you to contact the Georgia Crisis & Access Line at 1-800-715-4225 or the National Suicide Hotline at 800-784-2433.
