This week on WCLK's The Local Take at 8am Saturday I speak with Dean Ken Walden and Minister Brenda Bennefield from the Gammon Seminary at the Interdenominational Theological Center (ITC) about their upcoming Spiritual Retreats.
Dean Walden explains the seminaries relationship to ITC and the historical nature of the center where several seminaries are housed. He speaks to this campus being one of a kind. I ask him about why Gammon decided to offer spiritual retreats.
Minister Brenda Bennefield who's background is in Christian Education explains that the retreats are not just for clergy but for community members as well. She explains that there are different focuses for the retreats including clergy, spiritual and writer's retreats. These opportunities will run through the end of September.
