The Local Take: Atlanta Fulton Public Library Renovation Updates

Saturday morning at 8am on WCLK's The Local Take I speak with Claudia Strange from the Atlanta Fulton Public Library System (AFPLS) about back to school support and the opening of quite a few renovated library branches in our community.

Claudia shares with us that the Dogwood, West End and Cascadebranches have recently re-opened after major renovations that include a dedicated teen area as well as study cubicles.

She also shares that Atlanta Public School students can now use their school ID to check out books with the "Class Pass."  In addition to "Story Time" at the branches each Thursday at 8pm, check the AFPLS Facebook page for virtual storytime from their librarians.

The virtual Book Club on the AFPLS Facebook page is going strong, and they have also launched a Teen Book Club
