The late, great Al Jarreau is a timeless Jazz vocalist whose music always had a home on Atlanta's Jazz Station 91.9 WCLK. His legacy is reflected in new tribute album from Vocalist Chris Walker. Walker got his start singing in his church choir, spent time playing bass for Free Jazz Master Ornette Coleman and others including Regina Belle. Belle insisted he was hiding his vocal talents. On this fifth recording We're In This Love Together: Celebrating Al Jarreau(CCW Global), he pays tribute to Al Jarreau with a long list of collaborators, including Belle, Gerald Albright, and Bob James. All of them feature on a re-make of one of Jarreau's biggest hits, We're In This Love Together. You can hear it at various times on Jazz 91.9 WCLK.
