Check out this weekend's edition of UPFRONT featuring Dui Jarrod, Rowin Amone, Travis Cure and Mark E. Swinton.

Filmmaker Dui Jarrod and actress Rowin Amone were in Atlanta recently promoting their new web series King Ester. The show chronicles the life a New Orleans transgender actress just days before Hurricane Katrina. It features Rowin as Ester and also stars Janet Hubert. Both Jarrod and Rowin talk to UPFRONT about the inspiration behind the series, the positive response they've recieved so far and much more.

Model turned actor Travis Cure is here to chat about his role on Tyler Perry's #1 cable drama The Oval. Cure also opens up about his transition from the runway to the small screen and being comfortable with his "sex symbol" status.

Closing out the show is my one-on-one with Mark E. Swinton. The playwright, producer, director and theater phenom opens up about his journey to Hollywood and becoming Vice President of Tyler Perry Studios. This is the first part of our exclusive conversation.
