Don’t forget to tune in today at 9 a.m. for another edition of “UPFRONT” Inside Atlanta’s Entertainment Industry.

This week’s guests include CAU Drama Professor Jonathan Kitts and student actors Derrick Robertson and Sky Pugh, who are both starring in “Yellowman.” The Pulitzer Prize nominated play was written by Dael Orlandersmith and tackles the sensitive issues of colorism and stereotypes within the African-American community.

“UPFRONT” also talks exclusively to rising actress Jude Demorest. She is featured in Lee Daniels' upcoming Fox drama, “STAR” and opens up about working alongside the award winning producer and director as well as her favorite girl group.

“UPFRONT” correspondent, RivaBlue, chats with Grammy nominated jazz pianist Christian Sands about his Atlanta engagement at Clayton State’s Spivey Hall and his upcoming music project.

My last guest is DeEtta West, star of UP TV’s holiday family drama, “Merry Christmas, Baby.” The veteran actress and singer discusses her role in the film as well as her appearance on the now iconic “Rocky” soundtrack. She also talks candidly about her brother, the late Tony Award winning-actor Cleavon Little.

“UPFRONT” Inside Atlanta’s Entertainment Industry is presented by Atlanta’s jazz station, Jazz 91.9 WCLK and airs every Saturday morning at 9 a.m.
