I once heard someone say "believe that better is out there!" I've never forgotten that comment. When you think about it "YOU" are the "better!" By registering to vote and then exercising your right to vote "YOU" are believing that your community can be made better, your children's children's future can be made more vibrant and that "YOU" have the power to make it happen! Join me and your WCLK family on Saturday, October 6th, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The presence of your gift was felt, on June 28 as over 200 volunteers gathered at the Atlanta Community Food Bank (ACFB). We filled bags for ACFB and The Soulful Project, which provides nutritious food for families and children in transition. We worked haaarrrrrd! We were also tasked to fill over 1,000 back packs for delivery serving some of the 600+ Food Bank partner agencies in 29 counties throughout Greater Atlanta and North Georgia. It is a really warm feeling to be able to help make someone else feel better.
