Dr. William Boone

Saturday morning, April 2 at 7:00 on The Local Take on Jazz 91.9 WCLK, I'll feature a discussion with Clark Atlanta University Political Science Professor Dr. William Boone and Historian Hermina Glass-Hill.

On the Saturday, January 9, 7:00 a.m. edition of The Local Take, we take a look at the Year In Review.    I am joined in the Jazz 91.9 WCLK talk studio by Clark Atlanta University Political Science Professor Dr. William Boone and former Fulton County Judge Penny Brown Reynolds.    Judge Reynolds is a former prosecutor, speaker and author.   She handled cases on the television program, Family Court With Judge Penny between 2008 - 2010.

The crisis involving the death of young black men at the hands of the police seems to have reached an awful crescendo this summer, where there have been four high profile questionable killings in less than 30 days, including Eric Garner in New York, John Crawford in Ohio, Ezell Ford in California, and most notoriously  18-year-old Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri.
