The Local Take Talks City of South Fulton

Dec 15, 2018

This week on The Local Take I speak with Odie Donald II, the City of South Fulton City Manager. After failing a vote in 2007 to form a city, residents voted in favor of forming a city in 2016. Over 100,000 citizens call South Fulton making it the 9th largest municipality in Georgia.

Saturday, March 10 at 8:00 a.m. on Jazz 91.9 WCLK, The Local Take concludes a special two part re-broadcast with an update about The Weeping Time.  Dr. Kwesi DeGraft-Hanson about his ongoing efforts to commemorate the anniversary of the largest recorded single day sale of enslaved humans in the history of the United States.  It happened in Savannah on March 2 - 3, 1859.
