Gerald Albright

The late, great Al Jarreau is a timeless Jazz vocalist whose music always had a home on Atlanta's Jazz Station 91.9 WCLK. His legacy is reflected in new tribute album from Vocalist Chris Walker. Walker got his start singing in his church choir, spent time playing bass for Free Jazz Master Ornette Coleman and others including Regina Belle. Belle insisted he was hiding his vocal talents.

Programming on jazz 91.9 WCLK is made possible in part by the Fifth Annual Gulf Coast Summer Fest Jazz Edition, scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, September 5th and 6th at the Pensacola Community Maritime Park in Pensacola, Florida.  Tickets available at Ticketmaster.com beginning Monday, March 2nd.  This event will be hosted by Jazz 91.9 WCLK’s very own Morris Baxter.  The full line up of artists performing is available at gulfcoastsummerfestjazzedition.com.
