Jacob Webb is an award winning producer, bassist, pianist and multi-instrumentalist from Newton, Kansas. As one half of the Contemperary Jazz group, The JT Project, he continues to produce as well as write music. His latest release is called Details (New Paradigm) and is currently #1 on Billboard's Contemporary Jazz Charts.

Jazz 91.9 WCLK, Atlanta’s Jazz Station, presents GRAMMY Award winning Vocalist, Gregory Porter along with Singer and Pianist, Kandace Springs on Friday, June 23, 8:00 p.m. at Cobb Energy Centre in Atlanta.  In celebration of WCLK’s 43rd Anniversary, Porter and Springs will play Atlanta in a special salute to Jazz and Soul music.  The Jazz 91.9 benefit concert is an anchor for WCLK’s fundraising efforts to continue providing uninterrupted, quality programming and service to Greater Atlanta.

  April is National Poetry Month and Jazz 91.9 WCLK and Clark Atlanta University (CAU) Department of English presents a poetry competition for poets ages 18 and up.  Poets are invited to submit original poetry on topics ranging from the joy of being alive to commentary about social and political issues.  Do you want to praise someone; heal a broken heart with your words; or, celebrate the future?     Submit your poetry now through Friday, April 18, 5:00 p.m. to:  CAUPoetryContest@cau.edu
