Amazon Original has released the new trailer and official poster for One Night in Miami. It debuts on January 15.

On one incredible night in 1964, four icons of sports, music, and activism gathered to celebrate one of the biggest upsets in boxing history. When underdog Cassius Clay, soon to be called Muhammad Ali, (Eli Goree), defeats heavy weight champion Sonny Liston at the Miami Convention Hall, Clay memorialized the event with three of his friends: Malcolm X (Kingsley Ben-Adir), Sam Cooke (Leslie Odom Jr.) and Jim Brown (Aldis Hodge).

Amazon has released a sneak peek of Regina King's upcoming drama One Night in Miami. This is the Oscar winner's directorial debut and the project is based on the 2013 Kemp Powers theatrical production of the same name. The film chronicles the night R&B soul singer Sam Cooke (Leslie Odom Jr.) got together with NFL icon and film legend Jim Brown (Aldis Hodge), Human Rights icon Malcolm X (Kingsley Ben-Adir) and rising boxer extraordinaire Cassius Clay aka Muhammad Ali (Eli Goree).

Focus Features has released the official trailer for Harriet and I am so freakin’ excited about this movie. Cynthia Erivo is poetry in motion and I know she is going to bring all of that Broadway flair to the big screen as the unstoppable Harriet Tubman.

Based on the thrilling and inspirational life of an iconic American freedom fighter, Harriet tells the extraordinary tale of Tubman’s escape from slavery and transformation into one of America’s greatest heroes. Her courage, ingenuity, and tenacity freed hundreds of slaves and changed the course of history.

This week's edition of #UPFRONT features jazz vocalist Kathleen Bertrand as she talks about her new album, It’s Time to Love. This is Bertrand’s first project in six years and it features collaborations with Phil Davis, Tyrone Jackson, Tony Hightower and The Dangerfeel Newbies.
