Phil Denny

2020 was very good for Phil Denny with Billboard’s  Top 10 Lifted which followed his #1 Feel Alright which featured guitarist David P. Stevens.  Tough Get Goin’ is an uptempo song that may reflect the mood of us all after a year we won’t soon forget.

2020 will go down as a year to remember or one we may want to forget; one thing is for sure it had some memorable music. Several artists like Ragan Whiteside, Paul Hardcastle Phil Denny, Carol Albert and Julian Vaughn maintained their Billboard Smooth Jazz chart prowess. Some Jazz veteran acts like Spyro Grya, Kirk Whalum, Bob Baldwin and Hiroshima, showed they can still deliver despite all of the new artists emerging on the scene. As we ring in the new year Jazz 91.9 WCLK will countdown the Top 50 Smooth Jazz Songs of 2020.
