This week’s edition of UPFRONT features actor Daveed Diggs from the new film Blindspotting. The former Hamilton star was in town recently for the Atlanta Film Festival and more.

UPFRONT also caught up with actor Laz Alonso and director Deon Taylor to chat about their new film Traffik, which opens in theaters nationwide this weekend. The film also stars Paula Patton, Omar Epps and Roselyn Sanchez.

Closing out today’s show is my round table discussion about BET’s new lineup of scripted and unscripted programs for the new season. Blogger extraordinaire Xaviera Bryant, PR Maven Clorissa Wright and actor Mike Merrill are in the studio to chat with me about the new shows and more.
