Check out a recent edition of UPFRONT featuring artist Leroy Campbell, actor Jocko Sims and script writer Jiréh Breon Holder.
Leroy Campbell stopped by the show to chat about his new Leroy Campbell Studios in Airport City. For over three decades, he has created work featuring an eclectic mix of history, nostalgic themes and afro-centric periodicals while showcasing images of black heritage, culture and relationships. His vibrant and colorful paintings are owned by some of the biggest names in entertainment including Samuel L. Jackson, Tom Joyner, Terry McMillan and the estate of the late Dr. Maya Angelou.
UPFRONT also caught up with actor Jocko Sims and story editor Jiréh Breon Holder from NBC’s New Amsterdam. They were in Atlanta talking to press about some recent episodes that addressed health disparities, faith and family in the African American community.
UPFRONT airs every Saturday morning at 9 a.m. and is hosted by yours truly Ray Cornelius.
