The Emmy-winning entertainment icon opens up about her rocky relationship with her older sister, the phenomenal Phylicia Rashad, and how it evolved into a beautiful friendship over the years.
Allen is an accomplished dancer, choreographer, director, singer and global arts phenom who's best known for her role as 'Lydia' in the 80s movie and TV series FAME. She also held many leadership roles on such productions as A Different World, All of Us, Amistad, Girlfriends and Grey's Anatomy. She currently oversees the hugely successful Debbie Allen Dance Academy.
