Your Health Connection on WCLK on Wednesday, April 16 featured a discussion about the unlikely but very real issue of cancer in young people.  JaQuitta Williams hosted as we were joined by guests including Pediatric Oncologist Dr. John Bergsagel of Childrens Healthcare of Atlanta, 20-year-old leukemia survivor Daniel Blues, and Daniel's father Ezell Blues.

When you are in high school or college, mortality and disease are the last things on your mind.  But for many families living with cancer, chemotherapy takes the place of the prom, or life altering surgery takes the place of a summer by the pool.

Your Health Connection is made possible by the Center for Cancer Research and Therapeutic Development at Clark Atlanta University.  You can find out more about their great work by clicking here.
