Eight piece Parisian jazz-funk outfit, Cotonete, has been giving the world some insanely funky moments for the past few years, even being sampled by hip-hop superstar Drake and they are back with their latest release, Victoire De La Musique. Their label, Heavenly Sweetness, has been championing francophone inspired sounds from all over the world and this album sits high in their pantheon of releases. The album gives shades of classic Crusaders and The Headhunters, with a 21st century sheen and even features the king of U.K Soul, Omar Lye-Fook.
