Join me on Jazz Tones at Jazz 91.9 WCLK on Sunday, January 21 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. I'll be joined by Miguel Zenon who is a multiple Grammy nominee, Guggenheim and MacArthur fellowship award recipient. He is also an alto saxophonist, composer, bandleader, producer and educator. As the founding member of the San Francisco Jazz Collective and the Miguel Zenon Quartet, he has performed as a sideman with such notables as Bobby Hutcherson, Joshua Redman, Danilo Perez and Antonio Sanchez. The Miguel Zenon Quartet will appear at the Robert Ferst Center at Georgia Tech University on Saturday, January 27 at 8:00 pm.
