This week on The Local Take, we introduced our 10th Anniversary Theme Song. A contest with a Facebook group, "Artist Launch," helped reach up and coming artists with a theme song request. Mark Angel, Kelly Love Jones, and Anthony Reels were the three finalists. Mark Angel, a former colleague at WCLK, explains that he thought about The Local Take, my voice, and the show content in coming up with the winning entry. He also mentioned listening to great theme songs before he sat down to create our new theme song.
