Jazz Tones Insights: Kevin Bales, Beyond The Neighborhood

Pianist Kevin Bales recently joined me on Jazz Tones. He is a pianist, teacher and composer. Kevin has performed with Wynton Marsalis, Louie Bellson, James Moody, Eddie Daniels, Marcus Printup and many others. He toured and recorded with vocalist René Marie for ten years. Kevin has performed at The Kennedy Center and Lincoln Jazz Series. and the Toronto and Edinburgh jazz festivals. Kevin's latest self release in collaboration with Vocalist Keri Johnsrud  is Beyond The Neighborhood: The Music Of Fred Rogers, which features his interpretations of music from the classic children's show.
