New Music: Allen Carman Project-Carisma

Atlanta's Jazz Station 91.9 WCLK is featuring Carisma by The Allen Carman Project, which is a contemporary Jazz echo of classic Brazilian Bossa Nova from what can truly be considered a supergroup of musicians. Bass Player Carman has enlisted keyboardist Phillippe Saisse, Al Dimeola percussionist Gumbi Ortiz and drummer Luis Alicea, Andy Snitzer on saxophone, Guitarist Marc Antoine, Rick Braun on trumpet and none other than Nile Rodgers on guitar. They all come together on Carman's self-released record Carmanology.
