Friend of Jazz 91.9 WCLK Rhonda Thomas will appear at the 45th Annual Atlanta Jazz Festival in Piedmont Park on Sunday afternoon, May 29 at 5pm. She stopped by Morning Jazz to talk about this performance, and her varied history as a singer, including stops along with way with Isaac Hayes, Luther Vandross, Roberta Flack, Roy Ayers, Frank McComb, Dwele, Eric Roberson, Avery Sunshine and Sam Moore. Over the last decade she has regularly performed with noted jam band String Cheese Incident.

Among other things she talked(and sang) about her singing of the Morris In The Morning theme song, a re-written version of her song Breathe New Life.
