Erika Alexander teams up with Kevin Hart and Charlamagne Tha God for the AUDIBLE original series 'Finding Tamika'

Facebook: Erika Alexander

Living Single actress and activist Erika Alexander is back but with a twist. The iconic television star is stepping behind the lens (or the mic in this case) to bring awareness to our community's "black and missing" in the new AUDIBLE original series, Finding Tamika.

The 5-hour program hosted, produced, and co-written by Erika, takes a deeper dive into the tragic story of Tamika Huston, a 24-year-old Black woman from Spartanburg, SC who went missing in 2004. Her case has been featured on such popular "true crime" series as TV One's Fatal Attraction and Forensic Files. But this new AUDIBLE project takes audiences a little further and reveals a lot more details from Huston's family, former lovers, friends, and officers who investigated her case. There's even a profile on a psychic who was used to help determine how she was murdered. More importantly, Tamika herself speaks beyond the grave, giving bone-chilling clues as to what really happened to her.

Finding Tamika also brings attention to the lack of news coverage our black families receive for their "missing and murdered" versus our white counterparts. However, Erika is hopeful that programs like this will change that narrative.

Finding Tamika is produced in collaboration with Kevin Hart and Charlamagne Tha God's SBH Productions and is available for your listening pleasure on AUDIBLE.
