GSU's Rialto Center presents 'A.I.M' by Kyle Abraham and featuring the music of D'Angelo
Georgia State's Rialto Center for the Arts presents an evening with dance phenom and 2013 MacArthur Fellow Kyle Abraham on Saturday, May 21 at 8 p.m.
The evening will feature "An Untitled Love" the highly anticipated new work that is composed of the catalog of Grammy-winning R&B legend D’Angelo, and serves as a thumping mixtape celebrating culture, family and community.
Galvanized by Black culture and history, the company's work is made in conjunction with artists across a range of disciplines. It entwines a rich and provocative vocabulary with a strong emphasis on music, text and visual art. And if anything demands the silken choreography of Kyle Abraham, it's the seductive, lush music of D'Angelo.
The Rialto invites you to join them for this transcendent night of movement and music -- and ask yourself: "How does it feel?"
