Friday Jazz at the High continues with great music this evening from 6pm to 10pm with jazz and soul music vocalist —- Cleveland P. Jones. The show is hosted by WCLK's Jamal Ahmad.
Curated by Cleveland, the event will feature two musical areas where musicians will play throughout the evening, layering notes and improvising melodies
In addition to the great sounds, Friday Jazz patrons will also get to enjoy the Deana Lawsonexhibition on view for the last weekend.
A distinguished gentleman, Cleveland P. Jones is a singer-songwriter and native of South Carolina. He is a graduate of Morehouse College and of Berklee College of Music, where he prepared diligently for the stages of the world. He has toured internationally, collaborated with notable artists, and opened for the soul legend Chaka Khan. The past winner of Soultracks.com New Artist of the Year, Cleveland has released two albums and is currently composing new music to spread love and healing one song at a time.
