Join Jazz 91.9 WCLK and the High Museum of Art this Friday, August 17 from 6pm until 10pm for Friday Jazz at the High. This month's featured artist is tenor saxophonist Kebbi Williams.
In addition to the music, Friday Jazz at the High patrons will get to enjoy Ancient Nubia: Art of the 25th Dynasty and Samurai: Armor from the Collection of Ann and Gabriel Barbier-Mueller exhibitions.
Kebbi Williams (Atlanta) is a tenor saxophonist best known for his ability to weave all genres of music including avant-garde jazz, hip-hop, Afro-beat, and gospel. Williams has toured with Outkast, Donald Byrd, CeeLo Green, Mos Def, Russell Gunn, Julie Dexter, and the iconic Betty Carter, to name a few. He is an original member of the Tedeschi Trucks Band, with whom he is touring and with whom he won a Grammy in 2012 for Best Blues Album. For more information, visit musicintheparkatl.org.
