Join Jazz 91.9 WCLK and the High Museum of Art on Friday, September 15 from 6pm until 10pm for Friday Jazz at the High. This month's featured artist is trumpeter Yuichi Arai.
In addition to the music, Friday Jazz at the High patrons will get to enjoy In the City of Light: Paris, 1850-1920 and Samurai: Armor from the Collection of Ann and Gabriel Barbier-Mueller exhibitions.
Yuichi Arai (born 1983, Osaka, Japan) is a musician best known as a jazz performer among the Japanese community in Atlanta. Yuichi has collaborated with and performed with Joe Gransden and regularly with his trio, the Yuichi Arai Trio. He released his first album in Japan in 2015, Hoshi-no-daichi (The Earth of the Planet), which he composed, recorded, and mixed himself. For more information, visit Yuichi Arai’s Instagram page.
