MARCH 25 & 26: Samara Joy with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra

Grammy Award-winning jazz sensation Samara Joy brings her extraordinary voice to Atlanta Symphony Orchestra for two unforgettable evenings on Wednesday, March 25 and Thursday, March 26 at Atlanta Symphony Hall. Both performances begin at 8:00pm and will feature Joy performing alongside the full orchestra under the direction of conductor Enrico Lopez-Yañez.

A native of the Bronx, Joy has quickly become one of the most celebrated voices in jazz, earning widespread acclaim for her rich tone, timeless phrasing, and fresh interpretations of jazz standards. She rose to prominence after winning the prestigious Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition and has since earned multiple Grammy Awards, including Best New Artist and Best Jazz Vocal Album. Her recent recordings, including her acclaimed Verve release Portrait, showcase her artistry as both a vocalist and lyricist, blending tradition with a modern sensibility.

Presented as part of the Delta Atlanta Symphony Hall LIVE series, these special performances promise an elegant evening of jazz and orchestral brilliance. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to experience one of today’s brightest jazz stars in concert with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra in one of the city’s premier performance venues.
