Chuck Stewart: Framing the Sound Celebrates a Century of Jazz Greatness at The Sun ATL

The remarkable legacy of legendary photographer Chuck Stewart takes center stage this August with Chuck Stewart: Framing the Sound, a special exhibition at The Sun ATL Gallery on Edgewood Avenue in downtown Atlanta.

Opening August 8 and continuing through September 26, the exhibition showcases Stewart's extraordinary body of work documenting some of the most influential figures in jazz, soul, blues, and popular music. Widely regarded as one of the most important music photographers of the 20th century, Stewart's iconic images captured intimate moments with legendary artists and helped preserve the visual history of American music.

The exhibition also commemorates the 100th birthdays of jazz icons Miles Davis and John Coltrane, celebrating two visionary musicians whose groundbreaking artistry forever changed the course of jazz. Through Stewart's powerful photographs, visitors will experience the enduring legacy of these legendary artists and the timeless impact of their music.
