The music and conversation continue on Jazz 91.9 WCLK as Signature Serenade welcomes John T. Grant, Jr. on Friday, October 9, with host Debb Moore.
Grant is a highly respected Atlanta business leader and one of the most influential figures in Black college athletics. He serves as the Executive Director of the Cricket Celebration Bowl and the MEAC/SWAC Challenge Kickoff, two major college football events in Atlanta owned and operated by ESPN Events. Grant joined ESPN Events in August 2015 and has played an important role in elevating the visibility and celebration of HBCU football on a national stage.
For this special edition of Signature Serenade, Grant will step away from the football field to share another side of himself—his love of music and jazz.
Hosted by Debb Moore, Signature Serenade gives guests an opportunity to share some of their favorite jazz songs, along with the stories and memories behind the music. Listeners will get a personal glimpse into the music that inspires Grant and has meaning in his life.
Your support helps WCLK continue bringing exceptional jazz programming, cultural content, music education and community engagement to Atlanta and beyond.
