Music mogul Jermaine Dupri recently held a press conference for his "SoSoSummer 17 Tour" which will feature the winners and cast members from his hit reality series, "The Rap Game." The tour will also include hip-hip icons Da Brat and Bow Wow. "UPFRONT" talked exclusively to Dupri about the inspiration behind the tour and how he's remained relevant over the last 25 years.
World renowned photographer and CAU alumni Horace Henry stops by the studio to chat about his book, One Day In January. The photography book features rare photos of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s first Ecumenical service in 1969 and includes images of the King family along with Harry Belafonte and more. Henry also opens up about how the photos were selected for DC's new National Museum of African American History and Culture.
The show will also feature music from three of my favorite music divas who are celebrating birthdays this week---Chaka Khan, Aretha Franklin and Diana Ross.
