Don't forget to tune into today's special edition of "UPFRONT Inside Atlanta's Entertainment Industry." This week's show is part one of our exclusive coverage of the 2017 ESSENCE Festival in New Orleans. We got an opportunity to be a part of the Festival's Radio Row and chatted with stars from the hit series, "Orange Is The New Black" - Selenis Leyva, Adrienne Moore and Dascha Polanco.

We also talked to inspirational speaker, life coach and TV personality Iyanla Vanzant, gospel recording artists CeCe Winans and Anita Wilson as well as R&B/jazz vocalist Chante Moore regarding their new music projects. We also caught up with the cast of TNT's new breakout series "Claws" - Niecy Nash and Karrueche Tran as well as Miss Lawrence and Ryan Destiny from "Star" and Bryshere Y. Gray and TaRhonda Jones from "Empire." 

#UPFRONT Inside Atlanta Entertainment Industry is 30-minute radio magazine that features one-on-one interviews with all of the major players and behind-the-scenes superstars that make Georgia the new "Entertainment Capital.” It airs every Saturday morning at 9 a.m. on Jazz 91.9 WCLK and his hosted by yours truly, Ray Cornelius.
