The Grammy-winning performer talks about starring in the new film which chronicles the events that led up to the historic Detroit Riots of 1967 and the infamous Algiers Motel incident. Thomas also opens up about working alongside Oscar-winning director Kathryn Bigelow and his other TV and film projects. Thomas has appeared on the Broadway stage in productions of "The Lion King," "The Color Purple" and "Caroline or Change."
