Magnolia Pictures has released the trailer for the new documentary on Pulitzer Prize winning author and BLACK literary icon Toni Morrison.
Toni Morrison: The Pieces I Am is an artful and intimate meditation on the legendary storyteller and Nobel Prize winner. The film examines her life, her works and the powerful themes she has confronted throughout her extraordinary career.
Morrison leads an assembly of her peers, critics and colleagues on an exploration of race, history, America and the human condition. Look for appearance by her many admirers including Oprah Winfrey, Angela Davis, Walter Davis and Sonia Sanchez.
Toni Morrison: The Pieces I Am arrives in theaters on June 21.
