UPFRONT Inside Atlanta's Entertainment Industry kicked off our celebration of Black Music Month recently with an exclusive interview featuring Earth Wind and Fire legend Philip Bailey. The music icon is releasing a new jazz album, Love Will Find A Way and talked about collaborating with the new giants of jazz: Robert Glasper, Kamasi Washington, Christian Scott and more.

WCLK's Jamal Ahmad talked to UPFRONT about his Georgia Radio Hall of Fame nomination and his new documentary film Stepping Into Tomorrow. He also chats about new music from his group---The Dangerfeel Newbies---as well as the future of jazz and his top five albums of all time. (See the full interview below)

UPFRONT also celebrated the 75th birthday of Atlanta native and the Empress of Soul---Gladys Knight. Her music is played all throughout the show.
