The Oprah Winfrey Network: OWN has released the new trailer for Greenleaf and we need Jesus to take the wheel…like now!
According to the two-minute trailer, the Greenleafs are in a battle to take back their name and church from the clutches of Harmony and Hope Faith Ministries, led by Bob Whitmore (played by the iconic Beau Bridges) and Phil DeMars (Sean Blakemore). It also appears that Grace (Merle Dandrige) may be the key to saving Calvary Fellowship and bringing her family back to its proper place of power and prominence.
Greenleaf returns on Tuesday September 3.
