Ray Cornelius with Just Mercy star Karan Kendrick

Check out today's edition of UPFRONT featuring Ambitions star Brian White and Just Mercy actress Karan Kendrick.

Actor, dancer and producer Brian White stopped by UPFRONT to chat about this week's exciting season finale of his OWN hit series Ambitions. He also opens up about working with the great Robin Givens, his 20 year work relationship with Ambitions executive producer Will Packer and why he doesn't feel like he's "arrived" in his career. Check out our full un-edited version of our conversation below:

Stage, televison and film Actress Karan Kendrick stopped by UPFRONT to discuss her role in the upcoming drama Just Mercy featuring Michael B. Jordan. The film follows Brian Stevenson, a young lawyer who defends a death row inmate Walter McMillian, who was sentenced to die for the murder of an 18-year-old girl, despite evidence proving his innocence. The Fort Valley native and Spelman graduate also talks out what she learned from her Oscar winning co-star Jamie Foxx and how the film brought her closer to a relative who is currently incarcerated.
