Check out my most recent edition of UPFRONT Inside Atlanta's Entertainment Industry featuring Alano Miller and Xosha Rocquemore from OWN's new dramatic series Cherish the Day + Robert Battle, Artistic Director of the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre.

Ava DuVernay's epic new drama Cherish the Day premieres on February 11 & 12. The "anthology series" chronicles the stirring relationship of one couple, played by Miller and Roquemore, with each episode spanning a single day. The narrative will unfold to reveal significant moments in their relationship that compels us to hold true to the ones we love. The two actors stopped by to chat about their characters, working with Ava and screen legend---Ms. Cicely Tyson. CLICK HERE to see photos from the "ATL Launch Party" for Cherish the Day

The Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre returns to the Fabulous Fox Theatre February 20-23 and the company's Artistic Director, Robert Battle, stopped by to chat about their annual appearance and more. In the first part of our conversation, he opens up about his position as a "calling" and not a job. Battle also talks about dance "choosing" him and much more. The conversation was taped in front of a student audience at Clark Atlanta University and will air on CAU-TV 23 in February as part of their Black History Month programming.
