#UPFRONT featuring Stokley, BernNadette Stanis and the cast of 'School Girls...'

Check out this weekend's edition of UPFRONT Inside Atlanta's Entertainment Industry. It features my interviews with Grammy nominated singer/songwriter Stokley Williams, iconic Good Times actress BernNadette Stanis and the cast and director from School Girls; or, the African Mean Girls Play - Tinashe Kajese-Bolden, Brittany Deneen and Valeka Holt.

Former Mint Condition vocalist Stokley Williams stopped by the studios recently to chat about his new single, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NPFZ5nJIlsk">SHE. The song is climbing the R&B charts and comes from his latest project. He also opens up about his solo success, working with music royals---Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis---and what he hopes to accomplish in this new decade.

Iconic television actress BernNadette Stanis is here to pay tribute to her friend and Good Times co-star Ja'Net DuBois, who passed away this week. Stanis opens up about lessons learned from the legendary TV and film star and recalls the moment DuBois wrote the "Movin' On Up" theme song for The Jeffersons. Listen to the full unedited version of the conversation below:

Closing out the show is my interview with the director and cast of Kenny Leon's True Colors Production of School Girls; or, the African Mean Girls Play: Tinashe Kajese-Bolden, Brittany Deneen and Valeka Holt. The actresses open up about their characters and Kajese-Bolden talks about the show's controversial themes of colorism and bullying in the African and African-American community. February 27-March 1 is also "HBCU/Greek Week" at True Colors and alumi and Black Greek-Letter Organization members are encouraged to attend. (CLICK HERE for info)
