#UPFRONT salutes Chadwick Boseman + Katori Hall and Nicco Annan of P-Valley

This week's edition of UPFRONT Inside Atlanta's Entertainment Industry is a salute to the filmography of the late Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman with tributes from James Brown's daughter, Dr. Yamma Brown and Edward Adams from the African American Film Critics Association. We also bring you up close and personal with Nicco Annan and Katori Hall from Starz hit series P-Valley.

The life and legacy of Chadwick Boseman is discussed with AAFCA's Edwards Adams. He is here to break down his films 42, Marshall and Black Panther and explain why Boseman was one of Hollywood's most sought after actors. Dr. Yamma Brown, daughter of the "Godfather of Soul," James Brown recalls working closely with Boseman during the filming of the biopic Get On Up and how she developed a bond with the rising superstar. Listen to our full "unedited" conversation below:

Acclaimed Broadway playwright Katori Hall is here to chat about her hugely successful Starz drama P-Valley. The one-hour series is based on her critically acclaimed play about the lives and loves of exotic dancers working in a Mississippi Delta strip club. Hall also talks about the inspiration behind her colorful cast of characters. Breakout star Nicco Annan, who portrays the non-gender conforming 'Uncle Clifford,' also talks about the surprising connection his character has made with the show's viewers.
