Check out this week's edition of UPFRONT Inside the Entertainment Industry. It features my conversations with actresses Crystal Fox and Bresha Webb along with documentarian Jamila Wignot plus Nathan Hale Williams and POSE star Dyllón Burnside.

Sunday, February 7 is National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day and The Black Leadership AIDS Crisis Coalition (BLACC) is teaming up with iN-Entertainment and All Tea, No Shade Productions for a dramatic reading of George M. Johnson's critically acclaimed novel, All Boys Aren’t Blue. The Amazon best selling book recalls the trials and triumphs George faced as a black, queer boy while addressing such topics as gender identity, toxic masculinity, brotherhood, family and more. Here to discuss the project are filmmaker Nathan Hale Williams and POSE star Dyllón Burnside. The virtual event airs on Monday, February 8 at 8 p.m. and also features Jenifer Lewis, Bernard Davis Jones, and Thomas Hobson. CLICK HERE for more information and watch the full conversation below:

Award-winning documentarian Jamila Wignot is here to chat about her new film AILEY. It chronicles his rise to world wide acclaim and the challenges he faced as a creative force in the dance world from the 60s to the early 1980s. I caught with Jamila fresh from the film’s Sundance premiere this week where she talked about the project and more. The conversation was part of a talk back discussion presented in partnership with the BronzeLens Film Festival and the Atlanta Film Society. Watch the full conversation below:

Closing out the show is my exclusive conversation with actresses Crystal Fox and Bresha Webb as they remember Oscar-winning actress of stage, TV and film---CICELY TYSON. The two of them starred in Tyler Perry’s A Fall from Grace along with Ms. Tyson and recall their fondest memories of being with her on set. Listen to the full un-edited conversation below:
