TV One's hugely popular true-crime series ATL Homicide is back for another season. UPFRONT talks to David Quinn about returning to prime time with his partner Vince Velazquez and what fans can expect in the coming episodes. Bounce TV is premiering its newest dramedy series, Johnson, tomorrow night at 8 p.m. UPFRONT caught up with the show's creator and star---Deji LaRay. The project is centered on four life-long best friends in Atlanta, all of whom share the same last name (Johnson), and revolves around what happens when the four guys find themselves in vastly different places in their lives and it begins to threaten their bond. Deji talks about the real-life inspiration behind the series and its mult-generational angle. In addition, Executive Vice President of Original Programming for Bounce, David Hudson also talked about why the network chose Johnson and its timely message of brotherhood. 

Closing out UPFRONT is my exclusive with Lee Foster, executive director of Georia State's Rialto Center for the Arts. She's back to chat about the new fall season of jazz, world music and dance performances. The lineup includes a who's who of amazing talent including Trombone Shorty, The Manhattan Transfer, Angelique Kidjo, Miguel Zenon, Syncopated Ladies and much more.
