Veteran Broadway star Stanley Wayne Mathis presents a new virtual production titled Preachin to the Choir: An Inconvenient Truth. The show is described as a multimedia memorial ‘choreopoem’ and follows a young BLM documentary student activist as he attends the Annual AfroPunk Festival in New York City. However, the celebration takes him on a unique path when he befriends a homeless woman known throughout the community as Neighborhood Nana. The entire experience is documented on his cell phone, but is he the documentor or the documented? Stanley opens up about the inspiration behind the production and much more.
